I’ve had such an awesome experience going to hype dance since moving to Kelowna . I love the drop in idea , it works well for my busy schedule and the teachers are incredible, not just with their teaching abilities, but for the support they give everyone in the studio to make you feel so welcome, it definitely has made me find my love for dancing again. They have a fantastic videographer and knowledgeable teachers , I highly recommend checking out a class or two!

As someone who doesn't always feel comfortable in their own body, I can tell you that I am always welcome in these dance classes. (I've done hip hop beginner and beginner/intermediate). I have SO much fun and feel like I actually look pretty sometimes cool too! Haha. Anna teaches in a fun, accessible way with a super welcoming vibe, and everyone is always hyping" each other up (see what I did there?). Learning a new choreo each class makes you feel like you've really accomplished something

I think it is an AMAZING studio with great teachers for hip-hop, contemporary & commercial. The workshops and classes are super fun and a way to meet incredible people from all nationalities. I was looking dancing lessons for adults this is a great one if you are a person that has been wanting to give it a shot or have some past experience! Kuddos for all the hard work! Oh! And they also have online tutorials which are high quality as well

Anna (and the rest of the Hype team!) have always made me feel welcome and included in each class. Her routines are the bomb diggity (yes, you read that right) and I always leave class feeling confident and just so happy! Its great for beginners but she also adds in details and things to focus on if you are an intermediate or more advanced dancer so it is fun for everyone! Highly recommend any of her classes. Also the private parties for bachelorette or other events are awesome too!

Really great way to learn some new moves and have a fun easy going time with great people. Anna is an awesome teacher bringing fun positive energy to the class! This business is a perfect addition to Kelowna, providing a very accessible and affordable way for anyone to learn how to move to the beat!

I am a beginner dancer (for real) and always have the best time at Hype! If you are nervous about being terrible and not fitting in, you have nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this studio for beginners. If you're thinking about it, just do it you won't regret it!

Hype dance is the place to go!! Whether you've danced before or never like me, hype is an awesome way to learn a new hobby while also getting in a good sweat! Anna and the rest of the teachers are so encouraging and upbeat and make classes sooo fun!! LOVE!

Super fun experience for my first hip hop class! Brenna was warm and welcoming, she really took the time to help everyone through the choreograph, until we were ready to move on to the next steps. I will definitely be back for more classes. Definitely a fun way to workout and get your sweat on!

Drop in dance classes for all skill levels. So much fun! I love the drop in classes but they also offer performance programs from time to time that span over weeks and allow you to get more technical and work towards a longer/bigger dance. Highly recommend! Anna and Mark and the other teachers are amazing and there's no need to be shy - everyone is just there to have fun :)
